Franz Joseph Haydn
Franz Joseph Haydn was born on March 31, 1732 and was trained as a choirboy. He then worked as a musician, playing the violin and keyboard instruments. At the same time he composed chamber music. In 1759, he was appointed music director to Count Morzin. His most important work is "The Seasons". Haydn died in on May 31, 1809.
