John McGlinn Empty John McGlinn

John McGlinn, conductor of many works by Gershwin and Jerome Kern as well as several show tunes, passed away at the age of 55 on February 14. Cause of death is believed to be a heart attack. He made recordings of the complete scores of "Show Boat", "Annie Get Your Gun", "Anything Goes", and "Kiss Me".
